It's time to heal from the bullsh*t and create the relationships you deserve.

Am I the Right Therapist for You?
You remember a time when feeling safe, connected, and loved felt effortless. But now, echoes of past hurts make trust difficult, and healthy relationships feel out of reach. Don't you wish you had the tools to heal and rebuild that sense of safety? You're ready for personalized support from someone who truly gets it. As a Black Christian queer therapist specializing in trauma healing, I help queer women of color like you find their way back to trust and fulfilling connections after experiences of betrayal and abandonment. I help my clients find a sense of belonging within themselves and their relationships, guiding them toward healing, empowerment, and the connections they deserve. I understand the fear of judgment, worrying your problems are "too damn much," and the anxiety of seeking help.
I specialize in helping high-achieving queer women of color like you tackle these common challenges:
Finding Your Voice: Have you spent so damn long people-pleasing that you've lost touch with who you truly are? We'll use EMDR and other techniques to heal from past experiences and build a strong sense of self.
Building Healthy Relationships: Are you ready to ditch the toxic patterns and attract fulfilling connections? We'll explore your values and desires, using ACT therapy to create healthy boundaries and build authentic relationships.
Putting Yourself First (Without Guilt): Do you struggle with saying ‘hell no’? We'll explore the roots of self-sacrifice and develop strategies for prioritizing your needs with self-compassion and self-love.
My Approach to Healing
I believe in creating a safe space where you can be your true self, free from judgment, and where we tackle self-worth and self-love with honest collaboration. I've been on that other side of the therapy couch longer than I've been a therapist, so I get the vulnerability, the fear of your story being "too much," and the worry of being turned away.
And just like those therapists gave me a safe space, I'm here to do the same for you. My clients see me as a refreshingly honest voice who understands their struggles firsthand. I've walked a similar path, confronting my past, healing old wounds, breaking down shame, and ultimately discovering my own sense of "home" within myself. This drives my passion to create a space where you feel equally empowered to carve your own path to true liberation.
With warmth, collaboration, and trauma-informed methods like EMDR, ACT, Sex Therapy, and inner child work, we'll work to understand those deepest parts that deserve healing. Our sessions are a true partnership where you can be f*cking unfiltered and unapologetic. Expect laughter, maybe a few tears, and the kind of profound transformation only possible with someone who truly gets it.
My Story
From Broken to Healed
My story is one of overcoming, understanding, and finding strength in vulnerability. Childhood was marked by my father's absence, his death, and the challenges of growing up as a preacher's kid. This set a pattern of self-doubt, unresolved grief, and trying to reconcile my faith with my identity.
As an adult, the death of my partner compounded my existing struggles, leading to self-destructive behaviors and a deep sense of unworthiness. I battled years of unhealthy and sometimes abusive relationships, people-pleasing, and feeling trapped by the shame my religious upbringing instilled in me about my sexuality.
Finding My Strength
It was through therapy that I confronted my past, healed old wounds, and discovered that nothing was 'wrong' with me. I found strength in my experiences, a path to self-acceptance, and the freedom to explore my true self and build authentic relationships. More importantly, I finally answered the question, “Who Am I?”- A Black Queer Christian Kinky Monogamish Cis-Female. It truly felt like a sense of being at home with myself for perhaps the first time ever! Through healing came an even greater passion: providing others who share similar histories with a space where they can seek their own place within society free of judgment - so all may feel liberated once more! This journey wasn't f*cking easy, but it ignited my passion to offer that same safe, transformative space others had given me.
Why I'm Here for You
I get how tough it can be. I've felt the crushing weight of trauma and loss, the struggle of unhealthy relationships, and the confusion of questioning who you are meant to be; I understand the exhaustion of trying to please everyone but your own damn self because I’ve lived it. My experiences have shaped me into a therapist who sees beyond labels, meets pain with empathy, and firmly believes in the power of transformation. That's why my practice is dedicated to creating a safe, transformative space for long-term healing and self-discovery.
